Seed processing and testing is a major course of specialty of seed science and engineering, including two parts. The first part is seed processing and storage which teaches the principles and techniques of seed processing and seed storage and the law of seed activities during storage. The main contents includes seed physical properties, seed drying theory and technology, seed cleaning and sorting principles and technology, seed treatment and packaging technology, seed processing flow, seed storage physiology, the pests and control during seed storage, seed storage management, seed storage technology and germplasm resources preservation.
