Experiments of General Plant Pathology is a course set up as a basic requirement for students who are major in plant protection in the College of Agriculture and Biotechnology. This laboratory course provides hands-on training in fundamental and applied aspects of plant pathology including symptom of disease, disease development, morphological characteristics of major plant pathogens, pathogenicity, pathogen detection and disease diagnosis. It emphasized on the method and technology of plant disease diagnosis, pathogen isolation, pathogen purification, pathogen injection, and disease identification, including both traditional skills and the molecular microbiological techniques. This course will improve student’s scientific thinking and the ability to solve practical problems.
